UNCLE DOUGIE'S MIDWAY MONSTER BBQ SLIDERS

And for the big play, these are Uncle Dougie's Midway Monster BBQ Sliders. We love pulled pork at Uncle Dougie's, but this is a bit of a step up for entertaining.

WHAT YOU NEED:

4 lb Pork Tenderloin
Olive Oil
Syrup
3 Dozen (try Gluten -Free) Dinner Rolls or Mini-Buns
10 oz. Sneaky Spicy BBQ Sauce
2 tbsp Sweet N'Spicy Rub & Seasoning

PREPARATION:

  1. Wash and pat dry tenderloin with paper towels; trim any fat from edges.
  2. Place tenderloin on cookie sheet, brush with oil and add generous amount of Sweet N’Spicy Rub. Massage those bad boys like you mean it! Get it in there!
  3. Place in food storage bags and put in fridge (overnight is best) to let all the herbs and spice come to life!
  4. Mix 10 oz. Sneaky Spicy BBQ Sauce with 4 oz. maple syrup and 2 tbsp Sweet N’Spicy Rub in large sauce pan on low heat for 15 minutes.

GRILL:

Get grill heated on high and grill for 2 minutes a side, keeping the center very rare.

Place on cutting surface that will trap juices–cookie sheet works great. Slice thinly, 1/8 inch or less (but not wafer thin Mr Creosote!)

Place sliced tenderloin and juices in large skillet on low heat and add sauce–use a spatula to get every drop of that sauce!
